Silas Rothchilde will always be that one Rothchilde who would dodge academics as much as he can. The 13th child of the Rothchilde siblings, hailing from Rothchilde Manor, Silas is born a Nulhound. He is the son of a Dark Witch and a Nulhound native of Seongeup Folk Village, located at the base of Hall Mountain on Jeju Island. The arcane nature of supernatural knowledge and the centuries old folklore breathed into life rolled into one.
Silas was born in the Rothchilde Manor. Carolus, his Father, refused to let the woman stay in her village to give birth to their child. Thus, the woman had to leave her dear village to appease the man she blindly fell for. There, she discovered the opulence that the man possessed. It was far beyond what she had thought of. It was no secret to her that Carolus had other children, she just did not know how many there were. She formally met Ambrose, Quinn, and Ilyasviel. All three of them were kind to her. On the duration of her pregnancy, she had seen these three more often than the man she carried the baby for.
However, when the date of her labor approached, Ambrose took her aside and explained to her what will happen next as soon as she birthed the 13th Rothchilde. The mother Nulhound, trapped with limited choices, begged Ambrose to let her write a letter and bargained how to let her live. Ambrose bargained with their Father and ended up with a deal.
Silas’ mother requested that her memories of Carolus, being pregnant, birthing to a bouncing baby boy, her baby’s scent, and everything that had something to do with Rothchilde Manor and its members be erased. She was also “fixed” to ensure that she will not be giving birth to another child ever again.
The Nulhound Rothchilde grew up not bothering about who was his mother. He just came to terms with the fact that she either died, or abandoned him. He never asked so that he would not be disappointed.
Silas was born, and he was very much holding true to the expectations of a Nulhound. He was quick to resort to violence and fits of rage in the early years of his life. The only thing that kept Silas in line was his Dark Witch elder brothers, who used their magic on him to hold him down and control him.
